Life's complex circumstances and relationships can challenge our best coping efforts. Therapy is a brave undertaking in which you think and talk about your problems, attend to feelings that arise, and try new behaviors. We work together to increase self-awareness, alleviate distress, and develop more flexible ways of relating to yourself and others.
Feel free to call me to discuss your needs and goals. I am happy to talk to you about my approach or to facilitate a referral if needed.

As a clinical psychologist who has been practicing independently for over 10 years, I draw primarily upon upon the scientifically supported methods of cognitive behavioral therapy while tailoring treatment to your particular goals, strengths, and values.
In addition to treating a wide range of moods and stress, I specialize in treating women's health issues (e.g., breast cancer, postpartum depression) and grief over the loss of a loved one. I also provide marital therapy that focuses on strengthening communication, friendship, and intimacy.
