I focus on helping you discover and clear away the traumas and the "shoulds" that have been holding you down, making life stressful. My goal is to help you feel freer and lighter, for you to have possibilities instead of feeling stuck. The best time for this exploration is when the question arises: "Is this how life is going to be forever?"
With EMDR we can often make quick work of new or old traumas such as accidents, rapes, or the loss of a loved one. With mindfulness or guided imagery we can discover what's keeping you stuck and clear it away. With Brainspotting we can take something as simple as a feeling or a physical pain and release it. Often very quickly.
I honor our time together. Time, the gift life has given both of us, should not be hurried because as it slows down, as we sit a bit in silence, as we ponder the treasures that arise in our conversation, we often find new options, a new sense of this gift we call life. So in honor of this slower, softer pace my regular sessions are a full hour, occasionally longer.
