My Focus

My focus is on providing a safe and respectful place to address the reasons my client seeks psychotherapy. There are some techniques or theories I use (cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, systems, etc.) but the foundation for any change is relationship. We all have different styles of pursuing change. One method does not work for everyone. I'm interested in what works for my client.

Groups I Work With

Over my thirty years in this field I have worked with many different issues. Generally, issues of depression, anxiety, relationship, trauma, adjustment to major changes or loss, are all areas I specialize in. I also have experience working with people managing schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. I see adolescents age twelve and older.

Additional Information

I have a second floor office with no elevator, hence it is not accessible by wheelchair or anyone with a physical condition making them unable to climb stairs.
