OMHA recognizes the vital
role that coordination of care plays in both mental and physical
health. OMHA has developed procedures to facilitate communications
among members, clients, their PCP's, and other treatment providers.
Our members are able
to respond to a new patient by providing appropriate information
and a direct referral to the best matched provider, or with a
timely appointment. Emergency or crisis situations are handled
in the most effective manner possible including immediate phone
counseling, direct, personal referral, and on-call professionals.
